Before We Started

Here's a picture of the truck before we started last November. I've made quite a bit of progress over the past year and I'll be adding more photos as I am able. Please feel free to add comments in the "comments" thread in this forum.

Pat,

Just got the latest issue. I was a little surprized to see you have a female mechanic. Not that I don't think it's a good idea, but where does a guy find a girl like that!Image My wife doesn't have the least interest in my old trucks. I find it very attractive to see a girl diving into an old trucks and working on it Image

Keep up the updates,

Bob

I was joking about "my mechanic." Jamie Lee is our office manager. She is a better model than photographer, so when our photographer is busy I have Jamie Lee hold the tools while I take the pictures.

Pat,

That's a perfect case of journalistic malfeasance. I look to Vintage Truck to supply me with honest journalism. You have greatly disappointed me, and I am sure many others.

One the other hand, I've seen your picture, I would rather see a cute girl

After having let my subscription lapse a couple of yrs ago I've spent the last week ( in my spare time) catching up on back issues since my computer died and I couldn't access the 61-71 Dodge truck sites, and Gordon's site that I usually frequent. I 'd forgotten how great your mag is and how much I was interested in your 47 since I've got a 48 that I'm STILL figuring what to do with.( at some time I hope to be allowed and able to post pictures here).
I renewed for 2 yrs this morning.
BTW I could use a shop assistant, especially if yours has a friend in the Klamath Falls,OR area.
KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK.........both on the truck and the mag.
One thing you said in one of your pieces about spending a lot of time figuring out what to do and how to do it slowing your progress really hit home.
